The Sugar + Carbs

BIOLYTE has 10g of dextrose and 16g of erythritol for a total carbohydrate count of 26g. However, 95% of erythritol does not get absorbed by the body so you only absorb about 10-11g total sugars per each 16 fl oz bottle. This is why our calorie count stays low at 40 kcal per bottle. The mix of these two sugars will facilitate rapid absorption but not cause a blood sugar spike.
